Twenty-four years ago, Richard Jarocki walked into a car dealership in Ramsey, NJ, intending to apply for a bookkeeping position. Instead, he was hired as a salesperson. Within months, Richard became the dealership’s top salesperson, and within a year, he was promoted to Financial Services Manager. His journey continued upward, and he eventually led the dealership to rank among the top 10 in the United States for its brand.
After two decades of success at the same dealership, Richard shifted gears to focus on luxury and exotic automotive brands, including Nissan-Infiniti, Ford, BMW, and Ferrari. These experiences reignited his passion for cars—not as commodities but as artful machines designed to inspire. Working with Ferrari also introduced Richard to Formula 1, sparking a fascination with the sport’s blend of engineering mastery, fierce competition, and global camaraderie.
As Richard’s career evolved, so did his personal passions. He began to explore the world of luxury—from high-end fashion and gourmet cuisine to handcrafted cocktails, luxury hotels, and first-class travel. Cooking became a personal pursuit as he recreated dishes from some of the world’s best restaurants. Though he admits his mixology skills remain a work in progress, he continues to appreciate the artistry and craft behind a perfect cocktail.
Inspired by icons like Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, Daniel Boulud, and Masaharu Morimoto, Richard has sought to emulate their dedication to excellence. He’s been fortunate to meet many of these visionaries and dine at their restaurants, where he’s drawn inspiration for his own pursuits.
